Archive and restore products
Clean up your workspace with a recoverable pause while preserving customer history.
5 minute guideOn this page
Use archive for recoverable cleanup
Archive takes a product out of circulation without deleting its work, orders or customer history. Use it when an offer is no longer being promoted, when you want to reorganize the library, or when you need a recoverable pause.
Permanent deletion is a separate guarded action. It is not the normal way to hide a product you may need again. Read the effects and current state in the archive dialog before confirming.
Understand the effects before confirming
Archiving pauses new purchases and makes the product’s public pages private. Marketing sequences pause. Existing orders and eligible customer access remain intact.
Archive does not cancel active subscriptions or erase an earlier purchase’s terms. Transactional service messages and a provider request already in progress can still complete. Use the appropriate subscription, refund or customer controls when that is the actual job.
Archive from the product library
Open Products and find the intended product by name.
Open its product actions and choose Archive product.
Review the latest state and the listed effects.
Confirm Archive product when that scope matches your intention.
Use the Archived library filter to find the recoverable product later.
Restore without silently reopening sales
Open the archived product’s actions and choose Restore to workspace. Restore preserves the saved work and history, but does not republish pages, restart new sales or reactivate email sequences.
Return to Launch review and deliberately reopen only the parts that are ready. A restored product is not automatically a currently available public offer. Archive history records the change for later reference.
