Create a course and first lesson
Build a curriculum around your own teaching, recordings and practical next actions.
6 minute guideOn this page
Begin with one useful lesson
Choose Mini course or Full / video course. The builder opens directly in Curriculum, where Upload recording, Write a lesson and Add a resource are the starting choices. You do not need to complete design or payment settings before adding useful teaching. Give the first lesson a specific title and explain one action the learner can complete. A useful written lesson can stand on its own before you record video.
Choose Upload recording for an original MP4 or WebM, Write a lesson for your own text, or Add a resource for a supporting file.
For a written lesson, name the useful result and teach the first step with a concrete example.
Add a small practice action if it helps. A module name is optional.
Save the written lesson privately before attaching a recording to it; switching methods keeps unsaved teaching in place.
Complete the product’s name, audience and Outcome in Product details, then use View as member to inspect delivery. Saving does not publish the course or open checkout.
Organize modules and lessons
For a full course, use modules to group related lessons. Reorder lessons so prerequisite work comes before more advanced material. Check that titles tell learners what they will practice instead of listing vague chapter names.
The public curriculum shows an outline. Paid lesson bodies, files and recordings belong in protected delivery; adding a title to a sales page does not expose the full lesson.
Use your recordings and resources
Upload the lesson recording through its recording control. The lesson uploader accepts MP4 and WebM and currently shows a 100 MB limit; split larger lessons where needed. The sales-page introduction uses a different uploader with its own limit.
Add captions, transcripts, chapter markers or resources where the lesson supports them. Previewing draft text as the owner does not verify protected video playback for a real customer.
Add assessment only when it helps
Quiz, assignment, release and prerequisite controls support deeper learning flows. Use them for a clear teaching reason, then inspect how the learner understands locked lessons and completion requirements.
The owner simulation may unlock lessons for inspection. Before launch, test the intended release rules and media permissions with an authorized test buyer.
